LADIES WHO LUNCH
Brittany Hockley, Grace Tame and Asher Keddie all serving looks for the Marie Claire International Women’s Day luncheon

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’d know that Saturday just gone marked International Women’s Day. It’s a time where us ladies band together to celebrate the achievements, experiences and sacrifices that we make in our lives. So in other words, it’s a hell of a day to toast to.

Naturally, women’s magazine Marie Claire also got around it, hosting their own affair on Friday afternoon at Alpha Restaurant in the CBD. Over one hundred of Australia’s most influential, talented and recognised women attended (because after all, there’s nothing we love more than a long lunch moment).

Editor Georgie McCourt welcomed human rights lawyer Jennifer Robinson, actress Asher Keddie, Masterchef judge Melissa Leong, and Australian of the Year Edwina Bartholomew, as just a few names to speak on the guest panel.

Honourable mentions also go to Grace Tame, Brittany Hockley, Kate Waterhouse, Jessica Rowe and Michelle Bridges, who were also all in attendance. And let me tell you, these ladies might be known best for excellence in their lines of work, but they clearly are able to nail the fashion department just as well. I mean seriously, we were being served looks upon looks.

Scroll down to check out all the pics from the afternoon.
