HIGH NOTE Emerging artists listen up, you’re getting free studio sessions in November

There’s many things Sydney is known for. Sweeping harbour views, spectacular beaches, the list goes on. What we haven’t been entirely known for in the past, however, is our live music scene.
For up and coming artists, the uphill battle of breaking into musical hemispheres can feel near impossible. And while we have some of the best talent going around, it’s rare to see stars gain their footing locally.
This November, however, we’re making an exception.
That’s because Miraval Rosé and Brightside Studios in Surry Hills are banding together (pardon the pun) to offer emerging artists two weeks of complimentary studio time. You heard us right, what would typically set a recording musician back hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars, will be completely free of charge come Monday 4 November.

The campaign comes in light of new data from the Media, Entertainment & Arts Alliance (MEAA), who found half of Australian musicians earned less than $6,000 from the music industry in 2023. Not only is there an enormous financial burden that emerging artists must face, but the post-COVID live music, venue and gig industry has been volatile to say the least.
What’s more? The fully decked out studio will also come with complimentary bottles of STUDIO by Miraval. Talk about ultimate rockstar lifestyle.
It might seem to good to be true, but trust us, this is legit. In order to book your own studio time, you’ll have to email the code MIRAVALSTUDIO to info@brightsidesydney.com.au. No strings attached.
And when you finally get around to making that Grammy nominated hit, you can thank us in your acceptance speech.
