HOLY UNION MAFS intruders Teejay and Bethy have their wedding interrupted by a different kind of union: The CFMEU

I don’t know if a previous MAFS contestant has hexed this year’s round of filming MAFS weddings, but boy is the drama juicy and ripe. We’ve had bushfires, we’ve had grooms abandoning the experiment within days of starting. Today? We had an intruder wedding filmed amidst a literal CFMEU protest rally.
A double union, LOL. No? Not funny? Just me?
This morning, we spotted newlyweds Teejay Halkias and Bethy Kelly enter the experiment for what will be Season 12 of MAFS. Daily Mail revealed the names of the two intruding participants earlier this morning, and we are on the edge of our seats to see how this one unfolds. After all, nothing sets a strong tone of romance and forever love than communal chanting for unionised rights.
Teejay, who’s a Brisbane-based model in his mid-20’s, is also no stranger to the spotlight. Last year, he appeared on Big Brother as a contestant. We also hear that he’s quite chummy with former MAFS contestant, Eden Harper. It’s giving…am I really here for the right reasons? Or does the TikTok channel need a bit of a boosting?
Nevertheless, consider us intrigued.
What’s better, is that Teejay’s actually done a decent amount of bridal modelling in the past. In other words, producers literally hit the jackpot when it came to finding someone who would perfectly get away with looking overjoyed on their wedding day. He’s also been given some great feedback online, so kudos to him.
One reviewer even noted, “His positive attitude and willingness to take direction made the whole process seamless”. Perhaps Teejay will come as overdue respite for the producers, who appear to be battling to keep people listening to them during the experiment?
Enough of our speculation though, because we’ll all have to wait until the season actually airs. In terms of his missus, Bethy Kelly, we’re not too familiar with her yet. Don’t fret, though, we’ll get all that info over to you asap. After all, we’re all here for spoilers at the end of the day.
