MAFS 2.0 MAFS’ Ryan and Jacqui go F2F in Campbelltown Courthouse this morning ft. Westfield bodyguard

|

Oop, here we go again. What did I say yesterday about never being able to escape the MAFS vortex? Yeah, that.

This morning, Campbelltown Local Court played host to Ryan Donnelly’s second AVO mention against on-screen bride Jacqui Burfoot. Burfoot, who currently has an interim restraining order in Tasmania against Donnelly (prohibiting him from publishing anything about her on social media), was joined with fiancé Clint Rice and a bodyguard/driver? as they attended the proceedings.

Aaand here we go again people, another MAFS alumni hit episode – except this time the Lilyfields dinner party set has been replaced with a courthouse, and the foreign waiter has been replaced with Mo from Prestige Hire.

If you need to catch yourself up to speed with the entire ordeal, it’s best to head over here for the recap, or here if you’re really wanting to go all the way back. But if you’re already with the program, then read on.

The big news from today is that it was technically the first time the two had come face-to-face with each other since filming wrapped. That is, if you don’t count being within a vague proximity to each other at Carriageworks during fashion week.

As it currently stands, it appears that no final decision has yet been made as to the outcome of the AVO application. And while both parties were rather hush hush when arriving and leaving the courtroom, Ryan has already taken to Instagram to express that he is “very pleased with today’s” outcome. We love that he doesn’t feel the need to make a million TikTok’s about it, but then again, he’s probably not legally allowed to, lol.
