10 places in Sydney that are slinging $2 (or less) oysters

The people who will try and convince you that the best things in life are free, are actually just broke. There, I said it.

I’ll die on that hill even further when oysters are put on the table. There’s something about those little revolting gems that really gets me going, and I guess that’s kind of the point.

But alas, I’m just a girl who’s financially uninclined, and this is where my predicament starts. There’s no doubt that Gen Z are copping the cost-of-living crisis the most, and my wallet, for one, is looking more like Bella Hadid as the days roll by. But why should that mean we deny ourselves a life of luxury? Or maybe not even a life, just a little morsel of it?

Here’s where I come in. Introducing So Sydney!’s ‘Bougie on a Budget’ series, where I’m tracking down the most luxe experiences in town, sans the price tag of course.

First stop is oyster town. You’ll find below some of the best spots for oysters starting at a mere $1.50. Special shout out to The Morro, you guys are doing god’s work.
