It’s happening, everybody stay calm. Why, might you ask? Because Peggy Gou is coming back, and, per usual, doing it in style. After a sold-out run across Australia in 2024 and a headline set confirmed for AO Live in Melbourne next February, the global dance icon has announced an exclusive Sydney show at Carriageworks on Saturday 31 January next year.
Few artists have flipped club culture on its head quite like Gou. The Berlin-based Korean DJ, producer and all-round style powerhouse has gone from underground darling to full-blown global phenomenon, and all without losing her edge. Her blend of warm house grooves, sharp tailoring, and that effortlessly cool “K-House” sound has earned her a cult following from Seoul to Shoreditch (and now, Redfern).
Off the back of her chart-topping debut album I Hear You, which hit #5 on the ARIA Dance Chart and spawned the viral anthem (It Goes Like) Nanana, Gou’s return promises to be one of the biggest dance moments of the summer. Expect hypnotic basslines, disco-soaked euphoria and at least one crowd-wide sing-along.
How do I get tickets?
Presale registration is open now, with tickets on sale 12 pm AEDT Monday 13 October 2025 (general sale Tuesday 14 October).
Sydney, start stretching. You’ll want to be limber for this one.
