PAMPERED Isaac Heeney heads to Thai massage parlour as police investigation continues

|

Isaac Heeney has found time for a massage as a Victoria Police investigation involving several Sydney Swans players continues.

The Swans vice-captain was photographed leaving a Thai massage parlour in Maroubra on Thursday this week. It appears to be a small act of self-care after a month that has seen him suspended for the remainder of the season, interviewed by sex crimes detectives and still somehow named the club’s most valuable player.

The parlour promises to transport clients to, “a world of relaxation and pure bliss”.

Heeney was one of five Swans players stood down by the club in August for breaching club standards following a night at Melbourne’s Pullman Hotel. That disciplinary action is separate from an ongoing Victoria Police investigation into allegations of sexual assault at the hotel.

Detectives later travelled to NSW to interview Heeney, Chad Warner, James Jordon and Nick Blakey. No charges have been laid, and the allegations remain under investigation.

Heeney has since been named the winner of the Swans’ Bob Skilton Medal, with the club referring to the award this year as recognising its most valuable player. He did not attend the awards ceremony in person, instead appearing in a pre-recorded video in which he apologised to teammates, staff and supporters for the fallout surrounding the incident.

This week, however, Heeney was back in Maroubra. Apparently, he’s taking recovery rather literally, photographed leaving a local Thai massage parlour.

Victoria Police’s investigation remains ongoing.
