LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION Henry Cavill and Robbie Williams steal the show at the 2025 AACTA Awards

From this week’s Grammy Awards to the Golden Globes, we’ve officially entered my favourite time of the year. Awards season. And make no mistake, just because we’re all the way down under, doesn’t mean that Australia is against getting in and amongst the action.

This afternoon, some of Australia’s leading film talent attended the annual 2025 AACTA Awards. The gala is designed to honour the best achievements of screen excellence across the film and television industry. It’s a bit like the Oscars really, except smaller, lower budget and in Surfers Paradise.

Okay, so it’s completely different to the Oscars. But that doesn’t mean that our own homegrown talent didn’t go all out in strutting across the red carpet. From sequins galore, to bold red numbers, we’ve rounded up some of the best looks we’ve seen so far tonight.

Special shoutouts go to Henry Cavill, who was one of the few serious A-listers to attend, and more or less stopped everyone in their tracks. He was joined by girlfriend Natalie Viscuso, who is living every single woman over 30’s dream rn.

Of course, we also can never look past a good ol’ Robbie Williams appearance. Time passes on but that man still never fails to steal the red carpet. Oh, and same goes for Sophie Monk, who unsurprisingly stunned us all once again in a floral red gown.
