SPOTIFY WRAPPED Bondi woman with Bad Bunny as #1 artist swears she “deeply connects with the lyrics”, despite not speaking a word of Spanish

A 27-year-old Bondi resident has today entered what experts are calling a “mild to moderate delusion” after discovering that Bad Bunny topped her Spotify Wrapped for the third year in a row.

Despite not speaking Spanish, having never been to Latin America, and thinking reggaeton was a type of pasta, the woman insists she “really connects with the deeper meaning” of Benito’s discography.

“I don’t need to speak Spanish to feel Spanish”, she told So Sydney!

Her Wrapped also revealed she listened to 38,000 minutes of “Latin Pop”, which she claims is because she “used to salsa in a past life”, despite that past life being a 6pm Zumba class at Fitness First Bondi Junction.

Local linguistics experts have noted a sharp spike in Bondi residents “discovering their Latin roots” each year around Spotify Wrapped Day, often coinciding with summer, Aperol spritz consumption, and the sudden urge to buy a crochet top from General Pants.

The woman has also reportedly begun responding “sí” and “hola papi” on Hinge in preparation for a hypothetical trip to Tulum she “really wants to manifest for 2026″.

When asked to name her favourite Bad Bunny song, she replied confidently:
“Definitely the one that goes…you know…dum-dum-dum”. She then nodded as if she had just said something profound.

Spotify has declined to comment on the psychological impact of Wrapped season, but insiders confirm it remains the single biggest source of personality crises in the Eastern Suburbs, narrowly beating out Mercury retrograde.
