ICON Daryl Braithwaite stuns with ARIA red carpet look featuring a bottle of San Pelly

PICS: MEDIA-MODEIt’s the end of the year, and if you hadn’t already noticed, awards season is officially upon us. At this point in time, I’m convinced that the months of November and December are exclusively reserved for those in the media, entertainment and arts industries to pat each other on the back. Let me tell you now, absolutely zero work is being done.
This week’s prime example is none other than the ARIA Awards. Perhaps best recognised as the Grammy’s of Australia, Australia’s greatest musical talent (and a fair share of Tiktokers) gathered round to play high fives for yet another year.
If you’re yet to catch yourself up to speed with who won, all you really need to know is that Troye Sivan and Royal Otis cleaned up at the awards. Missy Higgins was also inducted into the Hall of Fame, where she rightfully belongs. And if there were any other takeaways from the evening, it’s that these people are in music for more than one reason.
On that note…
Seriously, the red carpet fashion even gave this year’s Melbourne Cup a run for its money. And if you don’t know what I’m talking about, do yourself the favour and check this out.
Now, before I go playing fashion police, let me caveat what I’m about to say and probably get cancelled for. Yes, there were some strong looks. No, not everyone underperformed.
Special shoutouts go to Tkay Maidza, Surely Shirley and Peach PRC, who never fail to miss the memo. You’re all doing the heavy lifting and I’m forever indebted for your services. And of course, we can’t forget our very own beloved Daryl Braithwaite, who accessorised the night with a bottle of San Pel. At least we’re giving icon status to those well deserved.
As for everyone else, the overall sentiment that we’re all thinking is…well…a bit bloody blah. Like seriously guys, this is the one night of the year that you have the opportunity to go ALL OUT. Lean into it. If I see another tailored suit or pair of Shein sunglasses, I might just go into orbit.
Anyway, scroll down and see for yourself. Viewer discretion advised.
