GLOSSY Inside the launch of Glamour Australia at The Collider

Glamour Australia launched in Sydney last week with a night at The Collider, bringing together a mix of fashion, media, beauty and creative guests.
The room was washed in pink and red, the branding was everywhere, and the crowd looked exactly like you’d expect from a magazine launch with one foot in media and the other in fashion.
Naturally, there were speeches, a video message from inaugural cover star Zara Larsson, a lot of very good outfits, and an unexpectedly serious commitment to jelly.
Jelly cakes, jelly shots, not much else in solid form.

Pictured: said strong commitment to jelly.
The Collider also felt familiar. Only a few months earlier, the same room hosted Toni Maticevski during Australian Fashion Week, and some of that same energy carried over into the night.
The launch felt less like an old-school magazine party and more like a polished social-first event brought into real life, which makes sense for how Glamour Australia has entered the local market.
But most of all, it was simply a very good-looking room full of very good-looking people. And that, my friends, is something we can appreciate.
