ROOT RAGE Hair in the Square considering rebrand to Brawl in the Mall after 2200 incident

A Bankstown hair salon has found itself in the headlines after an alleged fight broke out inside Hair in the Square salon on Sunday afternoon, with police reportedly called to the scene just after 3:15pm.
Reports allege the dispute began after TikTok personality Yisra Elmoubayet, best known for her “2200 brothaa” slogan, was refused a colour treatment near closing time. It then escalated into the sort of shopping centre melee that feels less surprising than it should.
Naturally, this has prompted quiet reflection by the local beauty salon, with Hair in the Square now understood to be weighing up whether its current branding still captures the full breadth of the customer experience.
While no formal decision has been made, insiders say Brawl in the Mall has emerged as an early frontrunner.
When asked about the incident on TikTok Live on Tuesday afternoon, Yisra offered the following clarification: “Bro, fucken I don’t know man, believe whatever youse want, not my problem”.
“There were just strangers coming out of nowhere left right and centre, know what I mean?” She said.
And while we still don’t, in fact, really know what she means, footage from the incident does appear to show a staff member wielding a hairdryer, while reports allege Yisra threw a pot plant.
At press time, Hair in the Square had not announced any official change to its name, visual identity, or service menu. It remains until now, technically, a hair salon.
Editor’s Note: This article is published as satire. Reports of the incident and quotes from Yisra Elmoubayet are accurate. The “Brawl in the Mall” branding, however, is not.
