ATTENTION PLS Harbourlife 2024 just released their lineup and here’s what we think
BY: Kartya Vucetic
After this year’s unexpected cancellations of Splendour in the Grass and Groovin the Moo, it’s no surprise Sydneysiders are feeling doubtful about the future of local live music.
Few and far between are the opportunities for artists to get up on stage. And the cost? That’s a whole other can of worms. Since COVID, over 1,300 live music venues and stages across Australia have permanently closed. Many are now claiming we’re amidst a ‘live music market failure’.
Consider us idealistic, but Harbourlife just announced their 2024 festival lineup release last week, and we’re feeling slightly better about ourselves. Last year, the festival sold all tickets in under five minutes, and their new, not-to-be-fucked-with artist schedule suggests they might just do the same this year.
Special mentions to Gorgon City (UK), Hugel (France), and Hannah Wants (UK), who’ll all be in attendance on Saturday, 23 November.
Check the full lineup below.
