BOO Kyle & Jackie O Easter Show Haunted House rumoured this year to feature animatronic lawyers jumping out of filing cabinets

Thrill seekers may sadly miss out on the Sydney Royal Easter Show’s famous Kyle and Jackie O Haunted House this year following the sudden collapse of the long-running breakfast radio show earlier this week.
The ride, which has long been a cult favourite of the show, traditionally sends guests through a dimly lit maze of clowns, ghouls and the occasional mildly traumatising jump scare before eventually emerging clutching a showbag.
However, insiders say that if the attraction were to proceed this year, the theme would likely need to be updated to reflect the pair’s very public radio fallout.

Kyle & Jackie O Show was officially axed after the astrology fight ended in a blood moon resignation
Early concept designs reportedly included several new attractions, including ‘The Courtroom of Doom’, ‘The Mediation Maze’ and the ‘Billable Hours Basement’. Visitors would then be funnelled through the ‘Settlement Negotiation Tunnel’, a slow moving corridor where nothing actually happens for about three hours.
One proposed section of the maze also allegedly features animatronic lawyers jumping out from behind filing cabinets, while guests are forced to sign increasingly complicated non-disclosure agreements before continuing through the ride.

The previous zombie theme will be replaced with billable hour nightmares
However, sources close to the Easter Show say the concept was ultimately deemed “too frightening for families”.
