Hold on to your wine glasses, folks, because the 2025 season of “Married At First Sight” just served up its first course, and it’s already sizzling with scandal. Last night, the cast gathered for their first dinner party, marking the explosive start of what promises to be a drama-packed 12th season.
As the newlyweds swanned into the Lilyfield warehouse, where some of the best wine throwing action happens, there were plenty of PDA moments as the couples got out of their limos. Of course this is not fooling anyone with fans threatening to boycott the season after the first contestants were revealed as influencers and ex Bach contestants – the ‘kiss for the cameras’ just seemed orchestrated by the producers. Like hey let’s show the paps you’re actually here for love. Pfft, not buying it.
Now, let’s dive into the juicy bits. Neither Lauren Hall nor her new hubby Eliot Donovan were spotted at the dinner party. This no-show is a real head-scratcher, especially considering their glitzy wedding at Sydney’s State Theatre on July 26. Are they dodging drama, or is it Splitsville already?
We also spied Katie Johnson, the social enterprise CEO from Queensland, rolling in solo. Producers went full stealth mode, sneaking her into the venue through the back door with umbrellas up to dodge the cameras.
So it’s looking like at least two marriages are on the rocks?
We also have some questions. Does anyone know the old dude in the blue tux? If so is he a used car salesman and if so can he do us a good deal on a low km Toyota Camry?
