DOUBLE TAKE Ricki-Lee might have won Best Dressed at the Logies, but someone else clearly got the memo too

It’s with zero debate that last night, Ricki‑Lee took out the Gold Logie for Best Dressed. Or at least…she would have, if such a category actually existed. We’re awarding it anyway.
That insanely vibrant purple, liquid‑metal ballgown looked like it had stepped straight out of a sci‑fi blockbuster. How she got into it, or managed to move like a functioning human, remains one of the great mysteries of modern fashion.
My brain is still trying to compute how this dress works
But there’s one little thing no one seems to be mentioning: that same dress made two appearances on the red carpet.
Yes, you heard it here first. Someone else clearly got the same memo as our pop‑star queen and arrived in a very similar gown. And while they both looked absolutely stunning (one in purple, one in red) most people probably wouldn’t have even clocked it. Most people aren’t me, though. I spend an alarming amount of time analysing Logies fashion down to the nail polish shade. This is my Christmas.
Tell me this isn’t almost the SAME dress?!
The mystery guest (still unconfirmed, sue me) wore an almost identical cut to Ricki‑Lee, once again in that liquidy, double‑take‑inducing fabric. My theory? The dress recently went viral on TikTok as a “Mother of the Bride” option, and clearly more than one Logies stylist had it bookmarked.
Anyway, whatever. Both looked fab. But maybe it’s time we introduce a shared Best Dressed Award.
