If you spotted a suspicious amount of gold and sparkle on the Logies red carpet this year, you’re not imagining things. Half the guest list clearly decided the best way to win a Gold Logie was to become one.
From molten‑metal gowns to sequinned disco armour, last night’s carpet looked less like TV’s night of nights and more like a glittering line‑up of actual trophies. Which, in a bizarre way, we kind of love.
Was it a subtle nod to Australia’s most coveted TV award? A happy coincidence? Or just an excuse to drape yourself head‑to‑toe in something that could double as a Myer Christmas window display? Whatever the reason, the shine factor was high.
