THE SCENE H&M invited most of Sydney’s offensively attractive population to Luna Park

H&M took over the waterfront Crystal Palace at Luna Park last Tuesday to celebrate its new ELIE SAAB collaboration. By the looks of it, they invited most of Sydney’s offensively attractive population.
The room was packed with models, creators and fashion-people-at-large. And while there was no official dress code, it appears that black was clearly having a very strong evening.

The launch marked the arrival of H&M’s latest designer collaboration, this time with couturier ELIE SAAB, bringing his signature world of eveningwear, embellishment and glamour into a more accessible format across womenswear, menswear and accessories.
That translated pretty naturally into the room itself. The Crystal Palace was polished, dark and very camera-friendly, with plenty of tailoring, sheer fabrics, sharp silhouettes and people who appeared to have been born knowing where their best angles were.
A polished night, a photogenic crowd and a convincing reminder that Sydney’s fashion scene is alive and well.
