When it comes to Monday nights in Sydney, we’ll be the first to admit that they can be a little…well, uh…catatonically dead. Aside from the restaurant closures, it seems we’ve all collectively decided to hibernate come 6pm on a Monday evening.
But with the weather warming up, and Sydney coming back to life again, I see no reason why we should continue this trend. Don’t get me wrong, I love a night in my oodie just as much as the next person. But I also am very much in favour of a mid-week outing.
It appears STOLI feels the same way. They’ve partnered with Golden Age Cinemas in Surry Hills to deliver the ultimate Monday night soiree this month. In celebration of the 30th anniversary of our Aussie classic, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, they’re combining forces to give you a Monday movie nights special like no other.
Introducing STOLI Martini & Movie Mondays. You’ll be treated to a movie ticket, two bespoke STOLI martinis, popcorn and a choc top (obvs). It’s happening every Monday night for the rest of the month, and it’ll cost you $50 all up. Ask me? That’s cracking value.
We were lucky enough to get a sneak peak of the event earlier this week, and let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint. I mean, how could it? It’s Priscilla for god’s sake. Anything it touches turns to glitter and gold.
