PICS: MATRIXA sunny day, a tequila brand, and the colour pink. Three things that, without fail, will always bring Sydney’s influencers out of their cocoon to play. And, to nobody’s surprise, that’s exactly what happened on Friday afternoon when Don Julio rolled out the pink carpet for some of our favorite local socialites.
Celebrating the launch of Rosado in Australia, we spotted the likes of Pip Edwards, Abbie Chatfield, and Flex Mami all getting amongst the action. Ahhh… must be nice for your full-time job to consist of long lunches, spicy margs, and selfies. Consider me jealous.
It seems everyone was on their best behaviour, with few fashion faux pas made on the day.
That being said, we have to give props to some more than others. Special shout-out to Kita Alexander—we were obsessed with the baby pink lace dress paired with red shoes, but seriously just wish she’d gone to the trouble of ironing the damn thing.
Speaking of grievances…
What in the Ken doll is happening with Matt Suleau?! The man looks like he’s spent a solid 24 hours in a solarium, and lowkey, I wanna know who his guy is. My god, I fear I might catch my reflection in his teeth if I stand too close. Hauntingly beautiful, with an emphasis on haunting.
Of course, no best-dressed list is complete without?
A nod to Flex Mami, who rocked the most outrageously fantastic fringe skirt. And major kudos to old mate Pip, who once again managed to reinvent the wheel on wearing activewear in public. Let’s be real, she is glowing. Clearly, a dash of New York sun has been doing wonders for her.
Go on, scroll down and have a stalk. We know you want to. And if you’re keen for a deep dive, check out some other red carpet coverage over here.
