IT'S HAPPENING
Raygun is getting her very own musical, and here’s what you need to know

|

Yes, you read that correctly.

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s officially happening. Raygun is getting her very own musical. And although it’s not quite Broadway-level quite yet, we think it’s definitely worth the check out.

iD Comedy is partnering up with Kinselas in Darlinghurst to deliver what can only be described as the show of the year (too far?) On Saturday 7 December, they’re opening their doors to punters for a one-night-only musical that’s one for the books.

Australian comedian and musician Steph Broadbridge is the genius behind the masterpiece of this one. And while we’re keen to leave much to the imagination, you can expect the musical parody to be an exploration of B-Girl Rachael Gunn’s journey to the 2024 Paris Olympics. Songs like ‘You May Be a B-Girl But You’ll Always Be an A-girl To Me’, ‘I’m Breaking Down’ and ‘I Would Have Won But I Pulled a Muscle’ may or may not be being featured on the night.

Call us crazy, but we also think it’s finally an appropriate time to laugh about the whole thing. The naysayers have finally got tired of hearing their own voice, and this is where the real fandom now grows and flourishes. Tickets are also only $10, which is pennies compared to Hamilton. Idk, maybe they’re not comparable, but I know which one I’ll be signing up for.
