EXPECTATION VS REALITY Tonight’s MAFS couples were cute, but do they really like each other as much off camera?

Well, we picked it ladies and gentlemen. As it turns out, Rhi and Jeff do, in fact, know each other rather well. And while we feel concerned that the MAFS producers are veering further away from the concept of an actual marriage at first sight, we’ll be the first to admit that it was a little hilarious.
And then there’s Ashleigh and Jake, possibly the most wholesome pairing of this season’s experiment. There’s not a doubt in my mind that these two really are here for the right reasons, and that’s a rarity in nowadays castings.
But after a week of Eliot and Tim villain edits, and hero edits like Katie, there’s one question we’re all wondering. How accurate are the cameras really depicting what’s going down?

Rhi and Jeff: friend zoned?
Based off tonight’s episode, a reasonable person would assume that while Rhi and Jeff were rather surprised to see each other at the altar, they weren’t necessary disappointed by it. Perhaps the universe was pointing them both back to the right partner? A second shot for the one that got away?
Maybe not.
Because while the MAFS producers would love to have you thinking that this was the setup of the century, our pics tell a slightly different story. Now, don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t appear that these two have a burning hate for each other or anything. But do they really look happy to see each other? I’ll let you be the decider on that.
Ashleigh and Jake: a rare success story?
They say a picture’s worth a thousand words, and in the case of Ashleigh in Jake, I think that’s spot on. You don’t really appreciate how lacklustre the post-wedding reactions of Rhi and Jeff are until you see two people who are actually into each other.
Speculation aside, it appears that whatever vibe Jake’s giving out, our new bride Ashleigh is seriously into it. The lovely lady, who has strikingly long, black hair, seemed to be having an absolute blast throughout the ceremony. The two appeared to be quite smitten with each other, spotted cuddling up to one another and sharing some intimate moments during their wedding photographs.
So there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. All the BTS of tonight’s episode that lets you decide what’s really going on between our newest MAFS couples to the experiment. And now we have to wait until Sunday to get our next hit. I tell you what, this MAFS thing is becoming more of a diagnosable addiction by the second.
