If you’re in the mood for a cinematic date night that may permanently damage your relationship and sleep cycle, boy do we have you covered.
Thanks to some help from our friends at Kismet, we’re giving away three double passes toTogether, the new horror-rom-com from Aussie director Michael Shanks (The Wizards of Aus) starring real-life couple Dave Franco and Alison Brie. What starts as a romantic escape in the countryside quickly spirals into a grotesque, gore-splattered relationship reckoning. It’s equal parts love story and fever dream.
The Guardian described it as, “a convincingly gory argument for being single.” And to be honest, after catching it ourselves at the Sydney Film Festival earlier this year, we couldn’t agree more. It might possibly have been the wildest film I’ve ever personally seen. So yes, allow at least an hour after the film as a debriefing buffer.
