The man, the myth, the legend. Who might we be referring to, you ask? None other than Hugh Jackman, of course. And to every Australian’s delight (and anyone with a pair of eyes), the national treasure has officially returned back to his homeland of Bondi shores.
Yesterday, we papped good ol’ Wolverine splashing around in North Bondi like the true blue local he is. The A-list actor rocked the ultimate pair of Hawaiian navy boardies that from afar, made him completely indistinguishable from every other Eastern suburbs dad trying to catch a moment of childless respite.
Claws were out this morning as the international celeb cooled off in the water after his workout at North Bondi Surfing Club. And my god, we can’t help but take a moment for that piercing blue steel pose he’s got going.
Good ol’ Jackie is known for making an annual Christmas-time appearance at Bondi, and it appears he’s made no exception this year. He reportedly told a nearby photographer that being back home felt like “heaven”.
But alas, he sadly won’t be joining us for the actual day. Rumour has it Jackman will soon be jetting back to the big smoke of New York for a Christmas Eve performance at Radio City Music Hall.
