PREMIERE Great Scott! Sydney played dress up (again), this time for Back to the Future: The Musical

Sydney’s theatre scene went full throttle last week as Back to the Future: The Musical officially hit the stage at the Lyric Theatre. And if you thought a time-travelling DeLorean was dramatic, you clearly haven’t seen Sydney’s red carpet crowd when there’s a theme involved.
Local celebs, influencers, and cast members all rolled up to the premiere, with many looking like they’d stepped straight out of an ‘80s fever dream. Think blue tulle frocks, denim rompers and more retro blow-outs than Joh Bailey’s on formal night. There were TV regulars, radio names, and a few familiar TikTok faces. In other words, the usual crowd.
Between the power ballads, neon lights, and borderline dangerous shoulder pads, Back to the Future: The Musical has officially landed, proving Sydney will always say yes to a night of sequins, sentimentality, and a free drink or two. And if you’re interested in tickets, it’s best to head over here.
