SHOP THE LOOK What Sydney wore: A full guide to Sydney Sweeney’s outfits while in Sydney

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’d know that Sydney Sweeney was back in Sydney over the weekend. It appears the Euphoria star was taking some much-needed respite from filming her latest film, Gundam, in Queensland.

Having touched down in Sydney on Friday, Sweeney moved between Bondi, the harbour, Sydney Swans games, and Taronga Zoo. In the meantime, we scored a neat little off-duty wardrobe arc. Think airport comfies, Bondi local cosplaying, and of course, the inevitable BridgeClimb uniform that humbles us all.

So, in the name of fashion journalism and local pride, here’s what Sydney wore in Sydney.

Editor’s Note: This article includes paid product features from brands worn by Sydney Sweeney.

LOOK 1: OFF-DUTY IN BONDI

For her Bondi shopping run on Saturday, Sweeney leaned fully into off-duty tourist mode: think American Eagle denim overall shorts, an ivory knit, navy Celine cap, Miu Miu sneakers and the Oroton Cali Suede Baguette.

It was the kind of outfit that said we’re “just keeping it casual”, while not being really casual at all. The local cameo, of course, was the Oroton Cali Suede Baguette, a chic Australian accessory moment worn while Sweeney appeared to be making the Gould Street rounds, including stops at SIR and ToniMay.

LOOK 2: TERMINAL DRESSING

But before Bondi, there was, of course, an incredibly chic airport touchdown on Friday morning. We spotted her repping the American Eagle jeans (once again), a rust crewneck, an unidentified black Miu Miu tote, and an Aussie designer cap.

Things were kept rather low-key, that is, aside from the giant “S” on her literal forehead. It’s also clear that Sweeney’s controversy following her ambassadorship with American Eagle and that ad is certainly not stopping her from opting for the brand time and time again.

LOOK 3: TARONGA CHIC

At Taronga Zoo in Mosman, Sweeney opted for a practical look, wearing a chunky cream knit, mid-wash denim and what appears to be the same Oroton Cali Suede Baguette. The defining piece, though, was the navy kangaroo-style cap, deeply solidifying Sydney Sweeney as a true Aussie tourist.

LOOK 4: BRIDGECLIMB

Ahh, the BridgeClimb. Possibly one of the most enthralling yet bizarrely humiliating things you can tick off your Sydney bucket list.

For the occasion, Sweeney arrived in leggings, New Balance sneakers and the Oroton Cali Suede Baguette, before being swiftly reminded that no amount of celebrity, styling or international fame can save you from the blue-and-grey BridgeClimb onesie. It is ugly. It is practical. It is also kind of iconic.
