Ahh, to be in love. And for that matter, to be in love with a 5ct rock on your finger. These two may have been the most controversial couple of the season, but let’s be real, they are so fucking unfazed rn.
For all my MAFS fans right now, I’m sure you’ve all caught yourself up to speed with the news that Clint proposed to Jacqui at Megan Pustetto’s So Dramatic! unofficial reunion party on Sunday night. Sponsored by Simon Curwood jewellers, the Tassie pro-golfer popped the question in front of a rather large audience. And to nobody’s surprise, Jacqui said yes.
Just hours before, the two were spotted roaming around Double Bay’s Girls With Gems store for a touch of shopping, only to be followed by a brunch at the celebrity hotspot cafe, Indigo. And while many have claimed that the engagement later that night was no more than a publicity stunt, nobody can deny that these two are seriously into each other.
The next day, the two headed back into the city to explore the sights and sounds of The Rocks as a newly engaged couple. And it appears that news travels fast, with Jacqui and Clint both attracting their fair share of attention from fans, onlookers, and oversized dogs.
As to what’s next for these two, only time will truly tell. But given Jacqui’s love language is “starting up businesses” (lol, truly a queen), we can probably expect these two to be writing many lists about what to do next now that MAFS has officially wrapped up.
