BEST WEEK EVER!!! Karl Stefanovic’s radio show has been axed by ARN just weeks after launch

In what can only be described as potentially the best week ever for Karl Stefanovic, reports have come in suggesting that he now has also broken free from the shackles and chains of his contract with ARN for new radio show The Long Weekend.
The show, pairing Stefanovic with Eddie McGuire, had only recently debuted across ARN’s Gold network just weeks ago. Nevertheless, it appears his segment there has also now become caught up in the fallout from Stefanovic’s controversial independent podcast interview with far-right British figure Tommy Robinson.
Now, while some may label this yet another fairly spectacular speed bump for Karl Stefanovic, it appears that his wish to be “truly independent” has, in fact, come true.
It also comes after what can only be described as an absolutely fucking shit show of a year for ARN, which has recently spent much time (and presumably money) dealing with the very public implosion of The Kyle and Jackie O Show. And while Kyle Sandilands’ has now apparently settled with the network, their proceedings with Jackie O Henderson appear to be ongoing.
It was just last week that Stefanovic was booted from Nine after two decades with the network. So yes, all things considered, probably not the week that Karl had pencilled in. At this rate, the only safe place left for Karl Stefanovic might be behind an unplugged microphone.
