PICS: MATRIXAhh, don’t you just love spring? It’s the time for horse racing, spritzed wine, and long media lunches. In other words, it’s basically Christmas for the socialites of Sydney, who officially made their annual debut at the Everest Carnival Long Lunch on Friday.
Hosted by Kate Waterhouse, we witnessed Sydney’s latest and greatest lads and lasses step out in their finest to show us what they’ve got. Who was best dressed, you say? We’re calling it a tie between Kate Waterhouse and Laura Dundovic.
Kate was seen sporting an elegant, floral embroidered high-neck white dress. She paired the look with a silver Bulgari handbag (naturally), tinted shades, and a peachy lip. In stark contrast, former Miss Universe Australia winner Laura opted for colour (and lots of it). She wore a bright red number with crystal embellishments, alongside a matching fascinator.
If the lunch was anything to go by, the trend for this season is bright and bold. Sydney’s socialites were certainly not afraid to go all out, and boy did they do exactly that. Scroll down below to check out all the photos from the event.
