SO SYDNEY Liquid IV hosted a morning pilates class at Icebergs, and if that’s not the most Sydney thing ever idk what is

In other non-fashion week news coming out of last week, was something that can only be described as possibly the most Sydney thing ever. On Thursday morning, as fashion influencers slept in to prepare for a long day of shows and accusing each other of wearing fast fashion, another event awaited. It was none other than the Liquid IV and Body By Berner pop up event at Bondi Icebergs pool.
It’s no secret that Liquid IV have seriously been doing the most when it’s come to their recent hard launch into the Australian market. It was merely the weekend before last that they played their part in sponsoring and hosting the FISHER and Chris Lake pop-up set at Olympic Park. And while this one attracted a fairly different crowd, it’s safe to say that the hydration brand is leaving no stone left unturned.
As Aussie icons and Bondi socialites like Elle Ferguson, Jordan Barrett, Em Miguel-Leigh and Miss Double Bay arrived on scene, the team proceeded to completely empty the Bondi Icebergs pool. Reportedly it was to raise awareness for the 70% of Australians who experience dehydration daily, and you know we love a good metaphor over here at So Sydney! So brava for that.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a true Bondi experience without our famous and beloved lifeguards Hoppo and Harries also making an appearance and participating in the pilates class which ensued. And like I said, does it really get any more Sydney than that? I think not.
Scroll down to lap up the Sydney-ness of it all. Ahh, how I love this place.
