FRIEND OF THE BRAND Longines ‘Ambassador of Elegance’ Barbara Palvin leads the arrivals at flagship boutique opening in Sydney

PICS: MATRIXAs I’m sure we all know by now, So Sydney! isn’t exactly immune to a good influencer PR lunch. And boy, were we in for a treat yesterday.
On Thursday, Sydney played host to the grand opening of the city’s Longines flagship store. Naturally, the event brought with it an array of stars, media personalities and ‘friends of the brand’.
And before you cast judgment, hold up. Because this wasn’t any old influencer event. THE literal Barbara Palvin showed up. That’s right, the model-come-actress, who also triples as an ‘Ambassador of Elegance’ for the brand, made her presence seen to say the least. A real celebrity at an Australian event?! Surely this ups the stakes.
Palvin chose the very-on-brand look of an elegant black skirt and jacket set, which she paired with black stockings and pointed heels. And while she looks STUNNING, we’re most impressed with her ability to strike a pose. That woman needs to host a class or something, because how someone can look entirely flawless in every single shot is beyond me.
Other honourable mentions go to Dylan Alcott, Lucia Hawley and Sarah Ellen. Clearly all three got the memo to follow Palvin in their black ensembles. And Sarah Ellen, I see you. Three weeks ago at an event you complimented me on my silver pointed pumps, and look who’s now also wearing them? I guess imitation is the highest form of flattery. Major slay.
It would also be a crime to leave this article without giving Francesca Hung the shoutout she deserves. While she’s gone against the grain in opting for a silver moment, we are so here for it, it’s not even funny. I’m in shock rn. She looks great.
