It’s not easy being a Married At First Sight star. Though you may think it’s all free dinner, wine, and expert advice, being a participant also means long days of filming, at least 157 unnecessary arguments per week, and sometimes being stuck in a small Sydney apartment with someone you despise.
Thankfully, there are some perks to the job, like a whole bunch of free goodies.
New intruder couple Clint Rice and Lauren Hall were snapped during filming hitting up Stax for a whole bunch of free goodies, and they looked every inch the trophy couple.
It’s not the first time the Season 12 MAFS stars have referenced or been spotted at Stax for some freebies. When controversial bride Jacqui Burfoot leaked her texts to Jeff Gobbels, Jacqui was seen asking the groom if he went to the Stax event, with Jeff confirming he and his wife Rhi picked up over $1k of free things.
Go team!
Intruders Clint and Lauren hit up Stax
What better way to kickstart a new romance than by dressing in matching hues and maybe trying to find matching tennis outfits for future outings?
Clint Rice and Lauren Hall head out on a little shopping outing. The couple dressed in matching casual attire and took an Uber to the city. While they looked picture perfect, there wasn’t an obvious chemistry between the two. But also it’s giving Real Housewives of Sydney vibes. The couple shared a laugh, potentially about Eliot’s dinner party tantrum. Lauren observes her new husband getting his freebies. Spot a familiar face in the background? The two appeared to be getting along well. Clint observes his new wifey walking away, probably won’t be the last time. Lauren’s gotten herself a sweet haul. But, wait, there’s more! She may not find love on the experiment, but at least she has a new wardrobe. A tennis outfit for Clint’s tennis court back home, perhaps? Clint and Lauren seemed pretty happy with their new purchases. Even shopping for freebies gets exhausting. An outing more successful than Lauren’s first marriage. And finally! A gentle caress proving maybe they are more than just friends! The couple shared some sly smiles while they waited to head back home. Clint was on supportive hubby duty, fixing Lauren’s hair.
Despite the couple looking comfortable on their shopping outing, if you’re a dedicated MAFS fan you’d know by now that things don’t end happily ever after for Clint and Lauren.
While we’re yet to see how it plays out on-screen, Clint is now happily partnered up with Jacqui, with the two reportedly shacking up in his designer Tasmanian home (which, yes, does have a tennis court). Hopefully Jacqui also picked up some free Stax gear to settle into her new life.
