DEFECTED MAFS’ Italian Mummy Morena has gone rogue and called Tony out for slut-shaming

MAFS’ Morena Farina has quite simply, had enough. The 57-year-old has gone rogue and lifted the lid about her time on the reality TV experiment, what viewers didn’t see when it came to her marriage with Tony Mojanovski, and the alarming moment producers had to step in when the two got into an argument.
Speaking with Abbie Chatfield on her podcast It’s A Lot, Morena revealed some absolute bombshells from her time on the show and what really fractured her relationship with Tony. And as the podcast’s title aptly suggests, she was a lot.
If you’re across all your MAFS gossip, you’d know by now that Morena hasn’t been scared to start showing her side of the story in various ways, speaking with everyone from other media outlets, to Harrison Boon (don’t ask questions we can’t answer). It’s mostly just about how Tony, who is still legally married, is still in love with his ex-wife and was somehow hoping to bring her onto the show.
Currently on the show, Tony and Morena have been on a bit of a rollercoaster. After Morena’s painting date during intimacy week brought them closer together, it was quickly derailed after Tony came home from his intimacy session with Alessandra and instead of asking him how it was, Morena steamrolled him with a book of quotes. It essentially sent Tony off the deep end (aka into their kitchen desperately making a cup of coffee, looking like a man who wanted to jump off the Titanic).
And while we’re yet to see how things will go for them in the next commitment ceremony, it’s safe to say they are definitely over and there’s not much loved lost there.
But WHY? Here’s Morena’s side.
Everything we learned from Morena’s explosive interview with Abbie Chatfield
1. She’s not angry at Tony that he loves his wife and wanted to somehow bring her on the show
“Tony felt really, really guilty, but it’s not his fault he loves her,” Morena said. “Do you know what I said at the commitment ceremony? ‘I think it’s amazing that somebody loves somebody the way you’re talking’. So I’m not angry at him that he’s married, that he had this idea that he can’t get to her, so let’s bring her to him. They live in America, I don’t know what he did, he did something with his visa and he lost it. The important part is, he can’t go back to America. He adores he, he’d tell me daily, I could see it in his eyes. What frustrated me was production said, ‘Morena, stop talking’.”
Morena said Tony told her he was married on their honeymoon during the honesty box challenge. You may remember the honeymoon for this dynamic duo wasn’t shown at all… interesting!
2. Tony said he “ordered a 40-year-old”
Morena stated that when the two left on the night of the wedding, Tony told her that he had “ordered” a 40-year-old. “I saw you were leaked in the papers, I thought you were 40,” Tony apparently said. “I didn’t order you, I ordered a 40-year-old.”
Sounds like Tony should spend some more nights at The Harp karaoke in his hometown. Maybe that’s where he was disappearing to every weekend after all.
3. Tony allegedly slut-shamed her
At some stage during the experiment, Morena asked Tony to take a photo of her a few days before her birthday and his reply was shocking.
“I said, ‘Tony, I need you to take a photo of me.’ And he said, ‘You got the look of a S-L-U-T’, and I said, ‘I beg your pardon?’” Morena said. “He then took my photo. A producer was there. She made him apologise to me.”
“I said to him the apology means nothing, because you had to be told. First of all, you do not say that to a woman,” Morena continued.
4. One bride told her to “get over” Tony’s comment
Tony’s comment got brought up at the next dinner party (which we can safely assume, we will not see it aired) and Morena said one bride tried to downplay his remarks.
“When that comes up at the dinner table, I’m not going to mention who because she’ll be ruined, she turns around and says ‘get over it, he’s saying you’re hot, but because of your age you don’t get the terminology’,” Morena said. “She said, I wish my partner would call me a S-L-U-T because it means I’m hot.”
5. Morena and Tony will make it through another one or two commitment ceremonies…
Morena talks about the “third” commitment ceremony and what happens on the couch, where she tells Tony that “no one” has ever made her feel the way he’s made her feel after the slut-shaming, and he then dubs her a liar.
But! Things get even more confusing.
Morena then says they had a conversation during one of the commitment ceremonies, where Tony said Morena can’t give him what he wants because he wants a baby. It totally bamboozled both her and the experts, with the experts allegedly telling Tony that he has never once mentioned this before. But will we see this footage air? It’s hard to say.
But keep that popcorn popping or those tequila shots flowing, or whatever gets you through (valium), because it sounds like we’re strapped in for at least another week of these two.
