HAPPY V DAY
Here’s the proof that Jacqui and Ryan are somehow back on

jacqui ryan mafs beach date

Jacqui Burfoot and Ryan Donnelly have quickly become one of this year’s most controversial couples on MAFS, with their relationship having more highs and lows than a Friday night gals get-together.

After a frankly baffling dinner party, during which Jacqui cheerily agreed with her husband that she has “crazy eyes” and seemed determined to put on a united front with him despite his X-rated comment about her bedroom antics, things took a turn when Jacqui finally got mad at Ryan about the photo ranking challenge (again). This led to her asking how he’d rank his sister before storming out, leaving things very up in the air as to how the two will get through the next commitment ceremony.

But if our pics are anything to go by, it appears the couple resolve things and will stay on our screens a little longer.

Jacqui and Ryan’s very casual, not staged intimate beach date

In October, the turbulent MAFS couple was spotted looking like smug lovebirds at Bronte Beach, with Jacqui wrapped around Ryan as he gave her a piggyback.

The two also cuddled as they watched a wall of water approach, which they ultimately survived, as they later took to the sand to take selfies of their lovers day out.

Jacqui speaks out on Instagram: ‘My character makes no sense’

Now while things are looking cosy at the beach here, in more recent days Jacqui has taken to her business Instagram page to speak out about MAFS and provide some behind-the-scenes tea for all us thirsty followers, while also dropping she’s in a new relationship. We can only assume he keeps his shoes off the bed.

In an Instagram Story, Jacqui addressed her followers directly, agreeing that her character “made no sense”.

“I agree — my character makes no sense — that’s not my fault — blame the editors,” she said. “I signed up for an unfiltered, raw, real marriage experiment / AKA documentary. I am fully in this for a life partner — taking it seriously, but having heaps of fun, laughter and playing up for the camera (a tiny bit). You’ve been fed a highly edited, fictional storyline.

“I love all dogs, am deeply insecure (hence why I need constant compliments, but hey don’t we all deserve that?), I am ready to settle down to have babies (4-5 kiddos) AND I am currently in a relationship with a person who was exactly what I asked for,” she continued.

She also addressed Ryan’s controversial comments from intimacy week where he told the boys Jacqui has crazy eyes, while later divulging to the group that she gave “good head”.

Saying that, Tuesday night’s episode was the first time she had seen and understood what Ryan had said in full, Jacqui said it was “worse than she ever thought it to be”.

“I just wish one of the guys pulled me aside for a private chat to explain what was said, and maybe pulled Ryan aside to explain the issue in private instead of putting the issue onto me to deal with it in front of everyone,” she said.

Let’s be real: the girl absolutely has a point here. In no world should a woman ever hear a comment like that for the first time and be made to have a live reaction to it at a dinner party. Let a woman process things for a hot sec!
