Other than Australian Fashion Week to rival, this week marked what could only be described as the be-all-end-all of influencer events. On Wednesday, over 300 sport stars, content creators and media personalities all came together to celebrate the official launch of EA FC 25.

Machine Hall on Clarence Street set up the official FC ClubHouse in Sydney, marking one of eight across the globe. Special guests, matches up on the large screens, previews of the new game and live performances continued to keep patrons busy until the late hours of the evening.

Now, I’m not exactly a close football follower, nor a gamer for that matter. But I get the feeling that to many attendees, this was kind of a big deal. Then again, I’d estimate roughly 90% of guests in attendance were men in their 20’s. So I guess you can’t really be all that surprised.

Special shoutout to Douglas Costa who made one of the most notable appearances on the evening. After previously playing for Bayern Munich, Juventus, Los Angeles Galaxy and now Sydney FC, it’s safe to say we were in the presence of football fame. Other notable players included Chloe Logarzo, Emily Gielnik and Marco Tilio.

Naturally, we were also spoiled for choice when it came to some of our favourite influencers and reality TV stars. Callum Hole, Mitch Eliot, Chad Hurst and Nick Brown were also all spotted tinkering around the ClubHouse. But don’t take my word for it, scroll down below to check out all the piccies from the evening. And while you’re at it, why not peruse some more pics here?
