Sydney’s social set put on black tie last night for an occasion befitting the gowns, the Royal Botanic Garden and a live performance from Erin Holland: the launch of a toothbrush.
Dyson took over The Calyx to unveil its new CameraJet, bringing together a guest list spanning television, fashion and social media, for what may be the most glamorous oral hygiene event Sydney has seen in some time. Perhaps ever.
Among those brushing shoulders were Anna Robards, Sally Obermeder, Erin Holland, Josh Carroll, Grace Hayden, Duncan James, Eden Harper and Katie Williams, alongside our own resident Guncle and a few other familiar Sydney faces.
Holland also surprised guests with a live performance of Nat King Cole’s Smile, because what else could you possibly sing for an occasion like this?
And somewhere between the black ties, gowns, botanical gardens and glistening white teeth, Dyson introduced their already-viral CameraJet digital toothbrush into the Australian market.
Sydney events season remains deeply unserious, and we mean that as a compliment.
