WTF IS GOING ON Anna Paul, Veruca Salt and Atis Paul have responded to Mikaela Testa, and now I don’t know who to believe

I tell you what, it’s probably time I look into the current moon transitions and periods, because there’s no way we’re in this much online drama rn without something being in fucking retrograde. Jacqui and Ryan from MAFS yesterday, and now this?? Something is actually wrong in the world.
Now, for those who aren’t night owls that casually doom scroll TikTok at 1am, let me catch you up to speed. Five days ago, Mikaela Testa posted her second episode of her Unsaid podcast. And if you’ve been living under a rock, you’d know that less than two weeks ago she commenced her absolute obliteration of the Paul family. Cue one of, if not the largest, cancel of 2025.

From detailing specific experiences she had while dating Anna Paul’s brother, Atis Paul, to handing over screenshots, receipts and hard proof, the claims are serious. And calling fans ‘fat’ was only the start of it. In her second video, things escalated to say the least. Allegations of animal abuse, sexual assault and domestic violence were only a few of the many declarations that were made. Honestly, there’s over five hours of content to get through, so if you’re still behind it’s best to first watch the entire Episode 1 and Episode 2.
Despite being known for her regular posting and daily vlogs, Anna Paul has since gone to ground for the five days since the podcast was aired. That was, until around midnight last night, where she released a 26-minute TikTok video response to the episode. The clip was more or less simultaneously timed alongside a written response that was posted by her brother, Atis Paul, on his Instagram.
Anna’s response…
Anna first acknowledged that she would not be weighing in on the serious allegations made about her brother, citing that this was “between two people”. And look, let’s be real, that justification would have held up better if it wasn’t for the fact that Anna has somehow involved herself in her brother’s drama almost every time beforehand. But alright then queen.
Anna quickly rushed to shut down claims relating to her treatment of her pets, making content for her underage fan base, and bullying Mikaela as well as other influencers based on their appearance. She also dismissed allegations that her father was homeless, and provided intimate details and screenshots to prove her case. Honestly, some of them were pretty convincing, and it’s left a lot of people feeling confused.
Here’s my take. Frankly, I don’t know who or what to believe. With that being said, there was a constant pit in my stomach during this video. The hyper-intimate and private details that she shared felt like some calculated smear campaign, particularly when discussing Mikaela Testa’s mental health. It felt mean, it felt nasty, and it was an entirely different side of the influencer that we’ve never seen before.
Atis Paul…
Let’s be real, this guy is fucked. I think few people are rushing to his side, despite having come out with his own set of receipts. Most of the screenshots he used were out of context, and on top of that, he docked Mikaela Testa’s mobile number (dick move).
The fact that Anna Paul has separated herself from him, too, would suggest that’s she trying to distance herself from the impending doom that this man has brought upon himself. And might I add, the fact that neither Atis nor Anna have pursued any legal course of defamation says A LOT. Despite Anna having addressed this in her video, $500k to $1m is chump change for them, and any reasonable person would have at least threatened legal action after Mikaela came out with such serious allegations.
Veruca Salt…
This lady is doubling down on Mikaela’s claims, and let’s be real, it’s pretty fucking persuasive. Veruca Salt is known for calling it like it is, and she’s often right about it. Furthermore, she knows both influencers personally.
Ugh guys, you know what, consider this my official tap out. Beacuse honestly, who the fuck knows what’s going on. If I had to call it one way or another, my spidey senses would tell me to trust Mikaela Testa, who’ll almost certainly be publishing another podcast episode ASAP. I guess all we can do until then is sit back, grab some popcorn, and watch the most colossal amount of shit hit the fan.
