Bunnings rave tickets sold out this morning in 0.5 seconds

|

After great speculation, Peking Duk came out to TikTok in late July to reveal that yes, a Bunnings rave was in fact happening. Australian music powerhouse DJ Whatsonot alongside Kaila would also be taking part of the sausage shenanigans. No clue what I’m talking about? Head over here to catch up on what you’ve missed out on.

Since then, we’ve been on the edge of our seats, waiting for the nitty gritty details of what will undeniably be the best party in Australia this year. But alas, it’s sad news for us Sydneysiders. Yesterday, Peking Duk came online again to reveal that the rave is officially going down in…Melbourne. Ew.

Despite the last-minute notice, tickets went live this morning and sold out instantly (as expected). In fact, Peking Duk took to Instagram stories this morning claiming they were gone in LITERALLY 0.5 seconds. That might actually be some sort of record.

But don’t lose hope just yet. If you were tempted to book flights down, you should know that Peking Duk is hosting a separate after party that you can RSVP for here. Given the Bunnings rave is an all ages event, we wouldn’t be surprised if the afters gets rowdy. They’ll also be streaming the whole thing live from their TikTok account.

What’s more? They’ve floated the idea of a potential Bunnings Rave Tour, taking to TikTok saying, “If this event is popular enough we can try and make it happen”.

In the meantime, let’s all cross our fingers and toes.
