SPOILER ALERT
Lauren Hall and Eliot Dononvan get remarried to WHO?! Don’t read this if you hate spoilers…

|

We might only be two episodes into this season of MAFS, but I think I can speak for the collective when I say that we are HOOKED. Like, seriously. As someone who has never fully committed to the show before (pardon the pun), I really don’t know what I’ve been doing with my life until now.

It’s also no secret that there was a lot to take in last night. From meeting what can only be described as the cutest couple (being Jamie and Dave, obviously), to having my blood boil over old mate Tim’s antics, my brain is in processing overdrive. What’s more? Naturally, the MAFS producers had to top it off with that little teaser trailer as to what we can expect from Eliot and Lauren on their honeymoon tonight.

Now, if you’re not into spoilers, this is the time to LOOK AWAY. Because our little birdies have told us more than just a few things when it comes to these two.

Let me catch you up to speed…

If you missed the first episode, my advice would to definitely check over here before we begin. But realistically, all you need to know is that on Monday night, 35-year old hunk, Eliot Donovan, was married off to 37-year old trad-wife wannabe, Lauren Hall. And while sparks momentarily flew between the two, shit started to hit the fan in more than one way pretty fucking quickly.

On tonight’s episode, we’ve been promised a little sneak peak into the honeymoon to K’Gari Island that they still decide to go on, despite clearly hating each other. And let’s be real, blind fucking Freddy could see that for these two, it’s already majorly on the rocks.

Now, while we’ve been promised a “sudden exit” a la Eliot, we can also reveal the bad news that everyone will, in fact, be seeing more of him on this season. Because despite the couple calling it quits in record time, it appears the MAFS producers decided to give him yet another chance at honest, real and genuine love.

Introducing Veronica Cloherty, the new model Eliot’s traded in for…

She’s a former Miss Universe Australia finalist, professional actress, and 100% here for the right reasons. Daily Mail also reports that she is a ‘nightmare’ bride that brings ‘nothing but trouble’ to poor Eliot. I mean come on, maybe it’s time we give this guy a break. What does he have to do to find his own personal slave?! Things really shouldn’t be this hard for him.

Don’t believe us? We’ve got the receipts. Here are the two new lovebirds on September 10 last year, entering one of the first dinner parties together.

And again on September 23…

Now, you’re probably also wondering what happens to poor Lauren? After all, she was unceremoniously dumped on her nationally aired honeymoon. Surely the MAFS producers also pity partnered her up?

You’d be correct.

We can reveal that Lauren does, in fact, jump quickly back on the bandwagon of love. This time partnered up with Tassie pro-golfer, Clint Rice. And some serious props are in order. This lady moves fast.

So, there you have it ladies and gentlemen. It’s clear that in the world of MAFS, if first you don’t succeed, try, try and try again. Except I’m not sure if this is exactly what William Edson Hickson meant when he coined that saying.
