HOT PICS We got BTS access to Daily Mail’s unofficial MAFS afterparty. Here’s what went down…

Ladies and gentlemen, we are officially just hours away from the MAFS Season 12 finale. And let me tell you, I am trudging to that finish line. How Endemol Shine and Channel 9 are so capable of dragging out seemingly endless screaming, heartbreak and tears over the span of three months is honestly impressive at this point.
And based off last night’s antics, my spidey senses are telling me that I’m not the only one who feels at least partially relieved that this season is nearly over. After the final MAFS dinner party aired on our television screens, Daily Mail hosted their own unofficial afterparty at Noir Nightclub on Oxford Street. And my god, is there tea to be spilled.
These four can only mean trouble
A feud between two parties…
Before we get into the antics of the evening, a little context first. Last night, So Dramatic! also decided they would host their own afterparty just down the road at Arcade Sydney. Essentially, it meant that all of the cast who had travelled to Sydney for the evening were forced to pick a side. Pustetto’s party, or Daher’s doo? (Sorry, I can’t help myself).
To few people’s surprise, Ali Daher continues to reign supreme as the king of MAFS reporting, with most ultimately deciding to attend the Noir event. But nevertheless, credit where credit is due. Jacqui and Clint made headlines from their very public, very sponsored proposal on the So Dramatic! stage, and if that doesn’t scream romance, I don’t know what does.

Who attended the Daily Mail party?
Carina, Paul, Ryan, Adrian, Teejay, Beth, Tony and Eliot all made a lengthy appearances at the afterparty in support of Ali Daher. On the other hand, Billy, Dave, and the newly engaged Clint and Jacqui opted for the Arcade event. And as for Awhina, Jamie, Rhi, Jeff, Katie and Ashleigh, well, it appears they all decided to call it an early night after the episode finished airing.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a true Daily Mail party without your fair share of reporters, Josh Fox from the MAFSFunny podcast, and Al Perkins, who somehow continues to remain relevant after appearing on the show years ago.
Heard on the grapevine…
Okay, here’s where it gets good. Because if last night’s dinner party was anything to go by, MAFS reunions of any form are going to be full of some serious drama. After all, it objectively is weird to be partying with your ex wives and husbands four months since the season finished airing.
Naturally, the talk of the town was the engagement of controversial couple, Clint and Jacqui. It was clear that most of the cast saw it as no more than a rather transparent PR stunt, and maybe some of them were slightly dirty that it worked. My gut feeling is that Rhi and Jeff announce their own engagement on tonight’s episode, and people are salty that this season’s it-couple were beaten to the punch.
It’s also clear that Adrian and Awhina are still definitely not on speaking terms. Rumour has it that while Awhina had originally intended to make an appearance at Noir, she decided against it last minute upon hearing that Adrian would be making a surprise rock up. Whether that’s true or not is pure speculation.
Last night was total and complete sensory overload
The biggest shock of the night? By far, hands down, talks that Jamie and Eliot are maybe a thing?! WTF?! How in the world those two share anything in common is beyond me, and I’m secretly hoping that it’s not true. I’m sure there’ll be more on that to come.
Overall, the general consensus was that these lads and lasses were relieved that the season was nearly over. Yes, they all know what they’re signing up for, but I don’t think anything can truly prepare you for the mind boggling experience that is being on a show like MAFS. After speaking to many of them, it was clear that most of the cast are ready to move on with the next chapter of their life. In other words, you can probably expect a whole lot of clothing, skincare and perfume launches in the near future.
And with that, we called it a night. And yes, if you’re wondering, it is, in fact, incredibly bizarre to party with a bunch of people you’ve stalked and chatted shit about for the past three months. Would I do it again? Probably yes.
Anyways, enough from me. Scroll down to check out all the piccies of the night.
