GIVEAWAY TIME We’re dishing out three double passes to ‘Mr Burton’, starring Toby Jones and Harry Lawtey

|

If you’re in the mood for a film that swaps gore and jump scares for razor-sharp performances and a story you’ll want to unpack over a post-movie drink, this one’s for you.

Thanks to some help from our friends at Kismet, we’re giving away three double passes to Mr Burton, the new biopic starring Toby Jones as legendary theatre director Philip Burton (the mentor who helped shape one of the most celebrated acting careers of the 20th century).

The Australian calls Jones “perfect as the mentor behind the master”, while The Irish Independent says it’s “perfect for a rainy Sunday afternoon”, which, frankly, feels right on brand for Sydney right now.

How do I score tickets?

Glad you asked, it’s simple really. All you need to do is:

  1. Like our Instagram post announcing the giveaway.
  2. Be following @sosydneyau on IG.
  3. Tag your plus one and comment which actor you’d want to be your real life mentor.
  4. Bonus entry if you reshare it to your story and tag us!

Giveaway closes Sunday 17 August at 11:59pm AEST. Winners will be drawn at random and contacted via Instagram DM the next day.

Mr Burton hits select Sydney cinemas from Thursday 14 August. And for the full trailer and cinema showing details, head over here. But for your convenience, you can also check out the trailer below.
