It’s International Tequila Day on Wednesday, here’s where you should go

Call me crazy, but as far as I’m concerned, this Wednesday might as well be Christmas. That’s right, International Tequila Day has come around once again to remind us why drinking tequila on a weeknight isn’t actually that great an idea. Let the traumatic times and poor life choices begin (I can’t wait).

What’s better? A bunch of Sydney venues are slinging margs at a price that won’t send you into personal liquidation. But buyer beware, fall into the false economy of cheap tequila and you’ll risk waking up short of a job or mate.

For tequila connoisseurs, head to Sweethearts Rooftop from 7pm on Wednesday. Tickets aren’t cheap, but you’ll score a five-course meal and premium tequila flight with seven tastings. I’d say that’s pretty good bang for buck.

If, for whatever reason, you’re already occupied on Wednesday night (or just want to keep the tequila celebrations going), The Butler Potts Point is your go-to.
