MAFS bridesmaid Tamara Hall speaks out about *that* villain edit, and rumours have it she’s the next MAFS bride

|

Ahh, never a dull moment in the MAFS world. Less than 24 hours after the premiere of Season 12 and there is so. much. drama. God I love this job.

If you tuned in last night you’d know that the one question of everyone’s mind was…

Who the fuck is Lauren’s sister?

Now, if you want the full catch up, head over here to find out everything we know so far. But for the 20 word or less summary, Tamara Hall (aka Lauren’s bridesmaid) basically broke the internet last night for her outrageous behaviour at her sister’s wedding.

From comparing their weights, to flirting with the groomsmen, to literally storming out of the wedding after not receiving a pescatarian meal, this woman was every MAFS producers’ dream guest. She literally made the show.

We’re also under the impression that our lovely Brisbane diva also watched the premiere alongside the rest of Australia last night. And my god would I have loved to be a fly on the wall for that penny drop moment. But like the savvy queen Tamara is, it didn’t take long for her to explain her side of the story.

How did she respond?

“I know how it looks – I watched the same episode as everyone else, and without context, I totally get it. But there’s over 18 hours of footage you didn’t see,” she shares on her Instagram story.

“I’ll be sharing a tell-all soon, so stay tuned! Just a little reminder – this is a reality TV show, heavily edited to get the highest ratings, and I earned the villain badge by refusing to conform. It’s not real life guys, so don’t take it too personally!” She continues.

Obviously we know this to an extent. After all, as the most watched reality TV show in Australia, the MAFS producers know that they need to add a little dramatic flair and spice when they can. But at the end of the day, there’s a part of us that aren’t quite convinced. After all, she did say those things.

We’ve got to give credit where credit is due, this lady is copping it like a champ. Between the ocean of Twitter memes, Instagram comments and news articles she’s woken up to, I’m somewhat impressed that she seems so cool, calm and collected. Maybe slightly concerned, too.

“It’s out of my control, so I’m fully embracing it – the good, the bad, and the ugly,” she finishes.

What are the rumours?

What’s perhaps more interesting are the surfaced rumours. Apparently, our lovely Tamara might just be getting started when it comes to her making MAFS waves. Yahoo News reports tells us that producers are already discussing the idea of casting Tamara as a bride in next year’s season of the show.

“She was made for reality television,” the producers apparently joked on the day of filming Lauren and Eliot’s wedding.

So just when you thought you might be able to finally kick your MAFS addiction, the show has once again successfully reeled us back in for Season 13, and forevermore really.
