INTRUDER ALERT! New MAFS intruder groom dumps teddy bear in trade for an actual real-life woman

Yes, another intruder wedding has gone down on Married at First Sight as of late, and honestly, we nearly missed it. But can you blame us? Because between threats of violence from current cast members to same-sex couplings, we’ve been a little preoccupied.
So, ladies and gentlemen, it’s about now that I should probably introduce to you our latest intruder couple of the season: Joel Moses and Juliette Chae. The couple tied the knot at Clarke’s Point Reserve in Hunters Hill just the other day, and my god I think MAFS may have just cast a male version of Jacqui for this next season.

Who is Joel?
A self-described “over the top” personality, Daily Mail reports that 31-year old Sydney model and drummer Joel Moses is apparently “larger than life”. And while in certain instances that can be somewhat endearing, apparently he’s the type of person who still asks his mum for back scratches and was “married” to his teddy bear until recently. And yes, I wish I was making this up.
Signed to KHOO Management, friends have reportedly described him as “out of control and completely unpredictable”, and I can already hear the producers over at Nine licking their lips over this one.

Who is Juliette?
I hope I’m wrong on this one, but my spidey senses suspect that Juliette might be getting the stitch up this season. Daily Mail has reported that Juliette is a Melbourne creative who’s passionate about short film directing and is bound to be this season’s “sweetheart”. In other words, I’ll bet any money that the experts will claim they’ve matched the two to “balance one another out”, but in reality, she’ll probably just inevitably snap at a dumb comment after one too many vinos at a dinner party.

What happened at the wedding?
In true MAFS intruder wedding style, all the existing couples within the experiment were also in attendance. And, dare I say, some of them look like actually legitimate couples? I tell you, I’m constantly in awe and the bonding experience that is being stuck in the same hotel jail as someone else for three months straight.
They say a picture tells a thousand words, and honestly, they’re not wrong. Because let’s be real, we didn’t need an insider source to tell us that old mate Joel is going to shake things up. These pictures alone truly do all the talking. I just hope that lady’s booked herself into a half-day spa treatment during their honeymoon, because I get the vibe that this guy won’t be drawing for breath anytime soon.

Apparently the couple have been told to stick the marriage out no matter what, which means that even if the romance doesn’t land, we’re guaranteed drama. And with the mounting pressure of Juliette living up to the standards of Joel’s ex-wife (aka his teddy bear), we probably shouldn’t have forgotten this wedding, because the drama is impending.
