EXCLUSIVE Here’s your next MAFS Season 12 groom and it looks like he’s had some heartbreak in the past.

Ladies and gentlemen, we promised to be your first point of call for MAFS Season 12 intel, and we’re not disappointing. Our photographers on the ground in Sydney have been running like headless chooks to get this one to you.
That’s right, there have been more MAFS weddings spotted in town today. This time, the ceremony went down at Gunners Barracks in Mosman.
Confirmed bride Rhi Disljenkovic has officially tied the knot with new suspected groom, Melbourne boy Jeff Gobbels. We can only imagine the puns Channel 9 are already rubbing their hands over.
But who is Jeff? And what’s his story? First and foremost, we know that Rhi is already following him on Instagram. If that’s not a confirmation in and of itself, we don’t know what is. More interestingly, however, is that this won’t be Jeff’s first time getting married.
Shocker, I know.
In fact, Jeff previously got married in November of 2019 to his housemate (#postCOVIDwedding?). Clearly, things didn’t pan out as expected, which is why he’s here having a second shot at love.
After a decent LinkedIn stalking, we can also confirm that Jeff is the Founder and Director of Splash Vodka. Randomly, he also appeared on an episode of Neighbours back in 2017. And played a waiter once in Chinese action film The Whistleblower back in 2019. Perhaps his quest for true love also comes with the added bonus of plugging his business, or boosting his acting career?
Career endeavours aside, we think his matching with Rhi will be an interesting pairing. The fitness blogger will likely share lots in common with the rugby player and fan.
