BREAKING NEWS Liam Payne, former One Direction star, has died aged 31

Local Argentinian newspaper, La Nacion, has reported Liam Payne to have died while in Buenos Aires. The overnight news comes as an immense shock to fans of both Payne, as well as the former band, One Direction.
The 31-year old British musician reportedly fell from a third story balcony at the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires on Wednesday local time. The precise cause of the fall remains unknown. However, La Nacion and Clarin report police were called prior to attend an emergency involving “an aggressive man who could be under the effects of drugs or alcohol”.
Local newspapers report Payne was visiting the city to attend the concert of his former bandmate, Niall Horan. Horan, who is currently touring Latin America, was seen backstage in Buenos Aires with Payne just one week ago.

Payne rose to global fame at just 14 years old, and was best known for his role in One Direction. After the X-Factor band was formed together by Simon Cowell in 2008, the boy band quickly rose to international fame. Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson were also members of the band. It was later disbanded in 2016 for personal musical pursuits.
