You didn’t think we’d stay silent on this one, did you? Please.
It’s true when they say there’s never a dull day in the world of Married At First Sight, and one restful weekend later I’m already back to playing catch-up on the lives of these truly insufferable people.
Last night, the emerging villain edit of Brooke was taken to whole new heights thanks to a very exclusive interview she arranged with the very niche publishing outlet of Women’s Day. And in case you’ve been living under a rock (or actually have a life, which I’m jealous of), she’s announced her recent engagement AND pregnancy to her ex-boyfriend, Harry.
Yes, yes, I know we’re all absolutely gutted to hear that the mean girl and man child don’t, in fact, end up together. I mean, that’s a real head-scratcher. And now, it’s only a matter of time before these two say sayonara to the experiment for good. Why…or how exactly…is something that we’ll be delving into later this week, so stay tuned for that gold nugget.
So in honour of Brooke and Chris, we thought we’d take a trip down memory lane. Of course, the lane is only two weeks long, and the memories were probably subpar at best. But if you stand at a distance and squint heavily, you might see a couple who actually tolerated each other for a fleeting moment in time. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what I call true love.
